Miller’s Professional Imaging Joins Manfrotto Distribution and Moab Paper in Martha’s Vineyard Print Offering

I want to thank these three industry leaders for their generous donations, matching grants, and material contributions to help raise the power of my Vineyard print offering to benefit the Barateria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP), a member of the Gulf Response Involvement Team and the wonderful work they are doing in the rescue and rehabilitation of Gulf wildlife and habitat.  Thank you all very much.

Michael Zide: Discovering your Visual Voice
The evolution of personal vision is the topic of this presentation. Sensual and tactile is how some viewers regard Zide’s exquisite black and white landscape photographs from Martha’s Vineyard and elsewhere. This discussion/presentation is for all who love the art of photography and the considerations that go into the image making process.

Joyce Tenneson has selected Vineyard landscape image as part of museum show.

Joyce Tenneson, famous for her unique style and exquisite portraiture has selected Michael Zide’s black and white landscape photograph to be part of a travelling exhibit called “The View Project”, which will open December 18th and run through March 13th at the Naples Museum of Art in Naples, Florida.  This is a marvelous venue and Michael Culver, the director of the museum, is writing an introduction for the catalog/book.  The exhibition prints will be sponsored by Canon USA, and Ms. Tenneson’s  studio will be producing the large prints this summer.

“I embarked on this project as a labor of love.  After my partner David passed away, I became acutely aware of how my view of Rockport Harbor had supported and sustained me.  The idea for the View Project came to me because of this experience.  I was curious to know if other photographers had photographed special places or visual moments that continued to have meaning for them.  I didn’t realize exactly how big a project this was going to be when I started out.  It is definitely a not-for-profit enterprise!  I am just thrilled that several thousand people will see the show, and perhaps be inspired to get in touch with special moments they have witnessed as well.” -Joyce Tenneson
